Are you detail-oriented and enjoy helping others? We’re seeking a friendly and reliable Gate Guard to manage access to our facility and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all visitors.
What You’ll Do:
Welcome Visitors: Greet guests with a friendly attitude, ensuring a positive first impression.
Access Management: Check IDs and issue visitor passes, facilitating smooth entry and exit.
17-Point Trailer Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming and outgoing trailers, including:
- Brakes and Lights: Ensure proper functionality.
- Tires: Check for inflation and tread depth.
- Frame, Axles, and Coupling Devices: Inspect for any signs of damage.
- Emergency Equipment: Verify functionality and presence.
- Documentation: Ensure all necessary paperwork is complete.
- Maintain Records: Keep accurate logs of visitors, inspections, and incidents.
- Assist with Queries: Provide information and directions to visitors and staff as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong communication skills and a welcoming demeanor.
- Excellent attention to detail and observational skills.
- Ability to stay organized and handle paperwork effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
Ability to Commute:
- Laredo, TX (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- Laredo, TX: Relocate before starting work (Required)
