Duties/Responsibilities
The duties performed are in the below areas recruiting and staffing, employee orientation,
Staffing
- Assist operations staff in maintaining required staffing levels through an effective recruiting campaign, utilizing online ads, state employment agency, job fairs, SHRM, and other avenues as needed.
- Assist in screening / interviewing job applicants.
- Assist with the employment process by conducting background checks and drug screens.
- Maintains temporary staffing logs.
- Plan and conducts new team member orientation.
Other
- Manage Social Media Accounts (Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, HootSuite, etc.)
- Back Up Reception Desk for Lunch and Absences
- Work with BD team on Digital Marketing Campaign to qualify and chart incoming leads
- Work with BD, IT and third-party services to update company's web site as needed.
Skills/Experience/Education/Training Required
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university or 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (Preferably in a manufacturing environment).
- Ability to speak in front of and train large groups.
- Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, regulations and standards applicable to the human resources field.
- Ability to deal effectively with applicants, team members, peers, and management staff.
- Proficient in computer skills including data entry and Microsoft Office suite.
- Paycor experience a plus
- Performs other duties as required.
- Must be a US citizen.
