Job Summary:
The Associate Account Manager provides ongoing sales support to existing customers, helps identify new sales leads, and collaborates with Territory Sales Managers to develop sales plans and pricing schemes. The Associate Account Manager will provide ongoing support to the Territory Managers and
Sales Team to ensure optimization of all processes and communication.
An outstanding Associate Account Manager will be someone whose customer-oriented initiatives contribute to optimize sales department performance. While being able to facilitate and coordinate administrative and operational needs with a “client centric” focus.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitates communication from email and Teams between company departments.
- Provide ongoing account support to existing customers
- Informing new and existing customer of promotions, upgraded product lines, and offers
- Notifying customers of unforeseen delivery delays or other complications, and facilitating suitable interventions
- Collaborating with the Sales team to identify new sales leads and develop sales plans
- Conducting sales research and identifying new sales opportunities
- Documenting processes and maintaining sales records
- Onboarding new clients with: o Lab Nexus and Lumin training o Supply request training o FedEx pickup training
- Client Support o Existing Clients o Onsite visits with current facilities (only) to secure relationships between lab and facility o Service current customers in the field (Twenty-five percent of time): o Complete monthly touch points o Complete weekly touchpoints (as needed) o Redirect any questions customers may have to the Sales department o Work closely with Territory Sales Managers regarding current accounts o Deliver Marketing Materials o Provide unique and creative items to the customers (coffee, treats, etc.) o New External Clients o Establish new relationship accounts
o Help identify new sales leads o Serve as a link between the Sales team and the Customers o Convince potential customers of NextGen’s range of products and service with creative ideas o Conducting sales research and identifying new sales opportunities o Identify and nurture clients via cold-calling
- Additional Lab Nexus and Lumin training for facilities, when requested.
- Onsite visits with facilities to secure relationships between lab and facility.
- Local courier services within territory
- Set up new accounts in Lab Daq server, Lumin and Lab Nexus portal.
- Post-Analytical lab services o Move results to correct portal when facilities enter orders into wrong portal. o Merge patient accounts in Lab Nexus and Lumin when needed. o Provide TAT (Turnaround time) for all test resulting being conducted in the lab.
▪ Provide updates to clients/patients on the ETA status of their results. o Work with assigned facilities to clear their holds and rejections in a timely manner.
- Triage complaints from facilities, providers, and patients.
- Assist the Billing Department with revenue cycle management purposes.
- Understands and adheres to HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability) policies, procedures, and regulations to assure confidentiality.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or similar
- Previous experience in a sales environment will be advantageous
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills o Excellent collaboration and communication skills Strong phone contact handling skills & active listening o Strong computer skills o Ability to learn applications and navigate Windows. o adapt/respond to different types of personalities
- Great organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to lift 50 LBS.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $5,000.00 - $6,500.00 per month
