Job Description
Nexthink is seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic content team. As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in the production of engaging and visually compelling videos for our website, social media platforms, YouTube, and other digital channels. The ideal candidate will be flexible, eager to learn, proficient in video editing software, possess a strong eye for detail, and have experience working with tight deadlines.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce high-quality videos for various platforms, including social media, YouTube, and other digital channels.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project objectives and create visually appealing content that aligns with Nexthink's brand identity.
- Utilize video editing software, primarily Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
- Assist with video shoots by operating cameras, lights, audio equipment and managing raw footage and other data.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in video editing techniques and technologies.
- Work under tight deadlines and efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Take ownership of editing projects, from start to finish, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet Nexthink's standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in video editing, specifically for social media platforms and YouTube.
- A portfolio or demo reel showcasing previous video editing work.
- Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
- Strong understanding of video composition, color grading, audio editing, and visual effects.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively communicate with team members.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of motion graphics, animation, and other visual effects techniques is a plus.
