DIRECTOR - E-COMMERCE, Natick, MA
We're seeking a candidate from the Greater Boston area.
This role is a hybrid between office work and WFH.

Founded in Boston in 2004, the brand is widely recognized for its knitwear, distinctive patterns, and sophisticated fits. Our customizable, versatile pieces are purposefully designed to help women feel just as good on the inside as they look on the outside.
In this dynamic business role, the candidate will own the eCommerce business end to end. They will develop and execute all aspects of a strategic ecommerce plan to deliver a superior brand and shopping experience for all customers. They will lead the prioritization of strategic initiatives; roadmap, budgets, planning, and operational requirements to drive growth and profitability of the eCommerce channel while providing a best-in-class digital experience for Customers
Requirements
· Extensive knowledge of e-com technology and sophisticated analytics and in depth understanding of search engine optimization
·Demonstrated ability to identify web partners and negotiate commercial terms to maximize channel contribution. Manage external vendors, contracts, relationships, and technical requirements to enhance the ecommerce platform
·Leverage analytics and consumer insights as well as AB test and measure learnings to implement optimizations and enhancements to the site and grow key eCommerce KPIs
·Own the end-to-end customer journey and identify opportunities for growth
Job Responsibilities
Strategy Planning
- Develop and Execute web Strategy and Roadmap (12-24 months).
- Research market to identify new trends and technologies to enhance website functionality and performance
- Identify web partners and negotiate terms to maximize channel contribution. Manage external vendors, contracts, relationships, and technical requirements to enhance the ecommerce platform
Reporting/Analytics
- Establish and achieve digital KPIs to meet revenue performance expectations
- Identify sales and consumer related insights and leverage analytics to develop meaningful strategies to improve all KPIs and optimize the user experience
- Own the end to end customer journey and user experience and identify opportunities for growth and overall enhancements
Financial/Planning
- Build sales model; forecasting demand/revenue
- Develop, manage, and own the P&L
Website Operations
- Manage all online activity in relation to traffic acquisition, sales, conversion and a/b testing and reporting
- Manage the technical infrastructure of the platform and look for ways to enhance website functionality/performance/optimization
- Oversee Security/Legal/ADA compliance
- Oversee all product and creative content, copy, and promotional activity timely and accurately
- Provide guidance and technical support to the Customer Service Team to ensure a best-in-class experience for customers
- Ensure a 360 Brand Experience as the gatekeeper of the brand’s online presentation
Marketing Partnerships
- Develop and successfully deploy the promotional calendar with cross functional partners and support to achieve and exceed revenue goals; ensuring alignment with Retail stores for a 360 brand view
- Cross functional partnership with Digital Marketing Manager to:
- Develop and execute strategies to increase customer acquisition across all digital marketing channels (PPC, SEO, Display, email, and social media etc..)
- Develop and execute relevant, timely, and revenue driving email campaigns
- Develop the strategy and execution of Loyalty Program
- Provide data/analytics
- Oversee website uploads and landing pages development
People
- Manage eCommerce team of 2-3 direct reports
- Manage Cross functional team partnerships across the organization
- Key Cross Functional Partners include, but not limited to: Marketing, Merchants, Creative, Operations, DC, Finance

Education Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 8-10 years of experience in an e-commerce leadership role.
- A Leader with strong people management skills and experience; preferably in a hybrid environment
- Demonstrated ability to translate brand strategy into the digital environment
- Strong understanding of UX/UI fundamentals, onsite merchandising techniques, and customer journey and retention principles
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (or other enterprise eComm platforms like Hybris, Shopify Plus or Magento 2), Google Analytics and Tag Management.
- Excellent analytical skills, able to interpret extensive data to make actionable recommendations to the business
- Knowledgeable about industry trends and best practices
- Multichannel experience preferred
- Cross Functional collaborator with experience working in team environments
- Cursory coding knowledge a plus (HTML, Java, etc)
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint. Ability to craft and format detailed reports and presentations from scratch.
