What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Data Entry position at NICL Laboratories?
NICL Laboratories is currently looking for a medical data entry associate that will work within a high-volume processing department, entering laboratory specimen information into our Laboratory Information System. This candidate will be required to be 100% accurate in data entry to ensure the quality and integrity of the data received into NICL Laboratories from healthcare providers and other clients.
Medical Data Entry Associate Responsibilities
- Handle and interpret specimen orders. Enter order information into our Laboratory Information System (LIS)
- Print labels for test requisition forms
- Manage a work load to meet company targets, timing is critical
- Ensure the quality and integrity of the data received from long term care providers, healthcare providers and other clients
- Support and comply with company’s Quality Assurance Program policies and procedures
Medical Data Entry Associate Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Experience working within a data entry environment, knowledge of medical testing preferred
- Strong attention to details, highly organized
- Ability to work in a fast-paced professional laboratory environment
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing workload and circumstances effectively
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
