What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Director of Sales position at Nightcap Management?
RDOS Overview: This position directly oversees a portfolio of hotels and directly sells for these hotels. This position is an above property acting Director of Sales and needs to work closely with Operations and Revenue Management to communicate and achieve monthly budgeted numbers.
**Previous Hotel Sales Experience Required**. IHG, Hilton, and/or Marriott Experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
● Develop and improve each hotel’s performance year-over-year to grow Occupancy, ADR and RevPar.
● Create a great working environment for our accounts to thrive – connect departments to create a sense of one team.
● Produce monthly reports including sales forecasts to analyze current and potential market/sales trends. Coordinate activities to increase revenue, market share and monitor performance to ensure actual sales meet or exceed established revenue plan.
● Achieve budgeted revenues and sales goals to maximize profitability. Participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget, the hotel marketing plan, business plan, and financial plans.
● Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and outside contacts in order to produce group and corporate business.
● Participate in associations and/or networking groups to have a visible presence and relations in the community representing our hotels.
● Update and create marketing collateral, fact sheets, rack cards and sales kits as needed.
● Respond to all RFP’s, CBCs, Meeting Broker, all lead generating referrals within the proper timelines.
● Maintain a working list of all networking associations and meetings currently attending with dates and locations.
● Schedule sales blitz and manage all outside sales calls/structure and perimeters. Weekly outside sales calls to gain new business required.
● Responsible for weekly sales reports to VP of Sales
● Meet monthly with the VP of Sales and Marketing to discuss the position of each hotel. Discussion of STR data, sales strategy, production of accounts, strengths, weaknesses, challenges.
● Assist with any other job duty asked by the supervisor or management team.

Up to 30% travel to assigned properties weekly, based and officing out of Corporate Office in Omaha, NE (must be based in Omaha)
