The Office Assistant has primary responsibility for sending, receiving and tracking physician orders, as well as assuring that field staff remain compliant with employment requirements. In addition, the office assistant performs administrative and clerical duties for the Administrator, CEO and other management staff as assigned. The Office Assistant will prioritize work among the various assignments according to requested deadlines and level of project importance.
Qualifications
· High School Diploma required.
· Prior administrative support or office assistant/management experience preferred.
· Ability to type 60 wpm preferred.
· Superior general office and organizational and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Understanding of and adherence to confidentiality policy.
· Accuracy and attention to detail with ability to multi-task.
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and accomplish goals.
· Proficiency with MS office, Excel, PowerPoint, and electronic communication tools: internet and email required. Familiarity with spreadsheets, database management, calendar programs preferred.
· Maturity and flexibility and the ability to deal with the demands of the job.
· Strong interpersonal skills with experience providing complex, confidential administrative
support in a high-profile environment with tact and diplomacy. Ability to work w/
multiple deadlines and multiple priorities required.
· Empathetic attitude toward the care of the ill and/or elderly patient.
· Communication Skills: presents information verbally and written form that is clear, concise and accurate; keeps associates and supervisors informed; listens.
· Adaptability: adjusts practices in changing environment; adapts to new ideas and procedures.
· Dependability: maintains good attendance, keeps unscheduled time off to a minimum

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
