Boutique Probate law firm with locations in charming downtown Newburyport and in Wakefield seeks full-time office manager.
Nigro, Pettepit & Lucas, LLP was founded in 1945 on the principle of providing both practical and creative solutions to our clients. Since that time, we have earned a reputation for our cutting-edge solutions and outstanding client service.
We are currently seeking a full-time office manager in our offices located in Newburyport and Wakefield. An employee in this role manages and coordinates day-to-day operations. Duties include:
- Managing office accounting/finances and bill payments and keeping records of same;
- Conducting employment interviews and staff training regarding procedures and information systems;
- Coordinating staff schedules;
- Maintaining inventory of office supplies and managing all orders;
- Facilitating maintenance of office equipment and computer updates with outside technical support provider;
- Working with external vendors, contractors and benefits providers;
- Tracking various deadlines regarding dues, subscriptions and other contracts, working to ensure that contracts are reviewed and updated as needed by managing partner;
- Communicating with clients regarding administrative matters;
- Overseeing the office filing systems, both physically and electronically;
- Communicating office policies and bulletins at the direction of the managing partner; and
- Assisting attorneys with projects and performing other administrative duties as necessary.
Applicants should be self-motivated, enjoy being in a position of high responsibility, have a strong ability to organize and prioritize tasks, be detailed oriented, have strong oral and written communication skills, have knowledge of Windows operating systems, have a cooperative and friendly disposition, and thrive working in a team-oriented, respectful atmosphere.
Salary commensurate with experience. Starting range $65,000 - $75,000.
Three weeks vacation.
