You are a talented, energetic sales exec who is passionate about telecom, excel at building relationships, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will help shape channel development strategies, including defining how Nitel can position itself to expand business development opportunities and channel partnerships. You will be responsible for achieving sales as well as partner engagement. You will seek, qualify, train, and manage sales agents to become consistent revenue producers for Nitel.
what youll do
- Collaborate with the RVP, Channel Sales, as well as cross-functional leadership team to establish go to market strategy, sales, and growth goals.
- Manage channel sales agents to perform at a level of sales at or above quota; you will carry a mid-level MMF sales quota.
- Meet with prospective candidates and qualify them to become sales agents.
- Coach and educate sales agents regarding Nitel products, processes, and procedures to improve their productivity and results.
- Attend sales calls with end users to qualify and present Nitel solutions.
- Collaborate with sales agents to qualify and strategize on prospective Nitel sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with sales agents to provide complete and accurate sales job packages.
- Interface with multiple departments to ensure delivery of services and ongoing sales agent and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare agent and customer sales proposals and is proficient in meeting sales profitability goals on a per deal basis.
what youll bring to succeed
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or related field is preferred
- Ability to travel in support of building effective partner relationships
- 2 years of sales in telecom or high-tech industry with strong technical capability/computer savviness
- Minimum 5 years channel, sales, marketing, and business development experience
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.com
- Creative and strategic thinking with good business sense
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Crack presentation skills and training experience is a plus
