WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
As an Oracle PL/SQL Developer you will be a part of the IT team, working closely with management, data processing, and other functional units to improve business applications and use of data.
- Support of ABS Route Accounting System
- Experience in front end application design and development using Oracle SQL PLSQL
- Responsible for application related problem-solving and troubleshooting.
- Provide support for assigned applications including testing patches and fixes.
- Identify, analyze and document software issues. In conjunction with the vendor provide problem resolution end-to-end.
- Must be well versed in writing complex PL/SQL queries by using advanced functions.
- Must be well versed in writing complex PL/SQL stored procedures and stored functions.
- Experienced in designing applications and writing codes based on functional requirements.
- Working knowledge of relational database architecture and design
- Ability to research, learn, troubleshoot and support customizations.
- Knowledge of HTML, XML and Command Line processing is helpful.
WHAT YOU’LL REQUIRE:
Education: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar PL/SQL Developer role, with experience in Java, Oracle databases, and scripting.
Technical skills: Working knowledge of Oracle programming language PL/SQL in developing queries, functions procedures and triggers, Java application development Crystal Reports, Oracle PL/SQL coding, and Oracle Business Intelligence.
Soft skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, strong problem-solving skills, and a business-focused attitude. Ability to communicate technical problems with non-technical associates.
Availability: Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, be available for emergency support, and always open to learning.
