What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Manager position at Nizuc?
The Restaurant Manager, in partnership with the leadership team, will establish and convey the restaurant's standards to ensure a high-performing and cohesive team. They will collaborate closely with the team to drive daily service excellence and promote accountability among team members. Their role is also to educate and support the service team in delivering an exceptional dining experience for guests and fostering a positive work environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate a culture of genuine hospitality that aligns with our business goals and supports growth across all stakeholders.
- Ensure the dining room is impeccably maintained, with appropriate physical inventory readily available for both employees and guests.
- Collaborate with BOH team to maintain positive working relationships during service periods, ensuring effective and timely communication.
- Continuously provide guidance and support to all service staff, actively participating in the service cycle when needed.
- Ensure compliance with Department of Labor (DOL) and Health Department regulations.
- Provide feedback and guidance with a focus on excellence and hospitality, ensuring all team members have clear pathways for growth and development.
- Proactively seek internal and external opportunities to expand and strengthen our growing team.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality; management experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc).
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Certification in a hospitality-related field is preferred, or equivalent expertise gained through experience
Salary : $78,000 - $80,000
