What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Support Services Technician position at NOACSC: The Northwest Ohio Area Computer Services Cooperative?
The Northwest Ohio Computer Area Computer Services Cooperative (NOACSC) is looking for candidates to fill a part-time position as Technical Services Support Technician.
This position will be providing technology support services to Findlay Digital Academy (FDA) in Findlay, Ohio. It shall be a part-time position, working twenty-four (24) hours per week for 162 working days per the FDA staff calendar.
Responsibilities include:
•Maintenance and repair of district technology
•Installation of hardware and software
•Support and assist the technology needs of the staff and students of FDA
•Maintain accurate records of inventory and repair utilizing the technology help desk software
Qualifications:
•Knowledge of various computing systems, including Windows PCs, Chromebooks, and Apple
•Knowledge of network infrastructure, both wired and wireless
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
•Excellent problem solving skills
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively
•Ability to manage time to meet deadlines
Experience in PC repair and troubleshooting, customer support, and information technology training are desired, however, entry-level candidates will be considered. Salary is dependent on your education and experience. A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in a related field is desired. This position does not include full-time benefits.
