What are the responsibilities and job description for the Channel Aliiance Manager position at Noise Barriers?

Catalyst Acoustics Group (CAG), the parent company of an elite group of acoustic, seismic, vibration and noise control companies are in search of a Channel Alliance Manager. In this role, The Channel Alliance manager will have the responsibility of maximizing long-term value for the company, its partners and customers. He or She will work directly with Sales and Marketing on relationship development and maintenance of key channel partners across multiple member companies. This role will report into the Chief Marketing Officer of Catalyst Acoustics Group. 

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Work directly with CAG Member Company sales leadership to develop, maintain and distribute channel report cards to key channel partners
  • Evaluate and measure key channel partner performance through analysis of data including end market penetration, MSA focused penetration, product mix and overall sales performance against stated goals and expectations
  • Analyze Key Performance Indicators and monitor use of CRM tool to determine the health of a channel
  • Identify key market gaps where representation is needed, or existing representation is falling short on delivery. Work directly with member company sales leadership to develop an action plan for remediation.  
  • Create the process and steps for changing channels.  Includes steps and approval process to terminate channels and initial new channels.
  • Accompany sales leadership on key channel partner visits/calls to review results and discuss opportunities for growth for key markets, products and territories. 
  • Collaborate with marketing and lead generation to develop custom programs to further support identified growth opportunities with key channel partners that result from scorecard evaluations and data analysis.
  • Based on channel and marketing intelligence, work with sales, marketing and technology to identify and execute on key support tools and programs that create value for the channel. This includes CPQ tools, Coop programs & Custom lead generation programs
  • Monitor competitor activity, creating plans for growing market share
  • Step back from individual Member Company perspectives and assess synergies and opportunities for CAG overall from a strategy perspective.  This includes current types of channels to market and those that CAG Member Companies do not utilize or that our industry does not utilize.
  • Assess the capabilities of channels to market for future growth potential.  Include key attributes including # of sales people, sales training/competencies, CRM tools at channel, balanced selling of products/ CAG offering, propensity of owner to invest for growth. Market share in area of responsibility and other factors.
  • Bring the documentation and contracts associated with authorized channel partner’s current.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Sales Management
  • Minimum of 5-7 years in Professional Services and Marketing/Channel/Sales, supporting Independent Sales Reps, Buy and Resell Representatives& Dealers 
  • Ability to provide exceptional client service, research and resolve issues, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning in order to stay current regarding strategies and strategic relationship building.
  • Must be able to travel up to 50%
