The team you'll be part of
Mobile Networks, includes mobile network products, network deployment and technical support services, and related network management. Mobile Networks providing market leadership in 5G, ORAN and vRAN technologies and will offer a full portfolio for customers wanting to buy mobile access networks.
Candidates will be part of the Mobile Network Deploy Team and will have the responsibility for managing Supplier performance during the site build cycle. As a Construction Manager, candidates will manage site builds within Nokia Deployment Radio Access projects with key focus on meeting project requirements and are in scope of contractual obligations, timelines and required quality.
What you will learn and contribute to
The Construction Manager role consists of managing Supplier performance during the site build cycle. Furthermore ensure each site is built with the highest level of quality and in a safe manner.
As part of our team, you will:
- Manage Contract Scope
- Manager Project Schedules
- Manage Suppliers performance from material pickup through site integration
- Manage Site Acceptance and Closeout Process
- Train and Validate Suppliers Competences
- Retrain Supplier on poor Quality issues
- Release Supplier from site after Closeout Package review and quality validated
- Inform stakeholder, keep up to date on process changes, delivery models, etc.
- Acts as a subject matter expert in the market
Your skills and experience
Construction Manager candidates must have Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of equivalent working experience.
You have:
- 3-5 Years of Construction Management experience
- Experience in Project and Construction Management, Radio Access Deployment Projects
- Ability to communicate with all levels, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, Access
- Ability to influence others, negotiation skills
- Coaching and Collaboration skills
- Improvement Methodologies, Results oriented
- Integrity and Trust
