Nonotuck is seeking a well-balanced, warmhearted caregiver / family with a handicap accessible home in the area surrounding the town of Mattapoisett to support a delightful female with acquired brain injury in a state funded model of care known as Shared Living.
Caregiver’s responsibilities:
- assistance to person with their daily activities
- support the person’s health and wellness
- promote and model a safe and meaningful lifestyle
- encourage participation in the community
Caregiver receives:
- generous tax-exempt stipend
- ongoing assistance from Nonotuck staff
- clinical and nursing supports
- extensive training and certifications
- 24-hour emergency on call support and consultation are provided
QUALIFICATIONS
- valid driver’s license
- own insured reliable vehicle
- suitability per comprehensive background screening
- caring, creative and patient personality
- above average communication skills
- background in human services welcomed but not necessary
