I am partnered with an employee-owned Environmental Consultancy with an excellent reputation that is seeking a highly motivated individual to lead a team as a Principal Scientist. In this highly important position you will also be responsible for generating revenue for my client so a keen sense of commercial awareness is desirable.
Responsibilities:
Provide thought leadership and technical support on client projects
Expand work with existing clients and grow new clients
Deliver high quality products to clients
Support the career growth of staff.
Education & Experience
Advanced degree in toxicology, biology, chemistry, environmental health, or similar field
At least 12 years of directly relevant experience
Pertinent certifications (e.g., DABT, Certified Senior Ecologist)
Successful track record in developing business and completing projects on time, on schedule, and with high quality
At least 5 years of experience managing technically complex projects and supervising the work of a high-functioning multidisciplinary team
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high quality work products
