NOOM, Inc., seeks Backend Engineer in New York, NY, to develop, construct, test, and maintain data-processing architectures. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: utilizing programming languages including Java and Python; working with RDBMS technologies including MySQL or Microsoft SQLServer or PostgreSQL; building big data processing systems, including data-intensive applications; working with cloud ecosystems including AWS, Azure or Google Cloud; utilizing nix-shell to accomplish tasks, including connecting to a remote server and running scripts; designing and interfacing with REST APIs; and working with Agile Software Development methodologies. Ref: BP05112023WEB. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000 and $224,000 per year. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting is based on Noom’s estimate as of the date of publication and reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position across all US locations. The actual placement of the candidate within the range is based on factors including but not limited to relevant experience, assessment of functional skills and behavioral competencies, scope, and location. This range is not inclusive of any discretionary bonus or equity package.
