NorCal Home Systems is the Bay Area's leading residential solar installer. With over 30,000 customers, our family owned and operated company has faithfully served our community for many years. We are in search for a customer service oriented, organized, proactive, and thorough production administrator to help our production department. Duties include scheduling installations/inspections, customer support and contact, communication with installers, overseeing logs and ensuring accurate production records are maintained and sent to the appropriate department. Also acts the primary point of contact for all customers during installation and through the final inspection before activation.

Duties and Responsibilities Include
- Reviews company reports daily with PM (RFF, Appt Log, MJT), and make sure notes/statuses are updated daily
- Ensures all correct job photos are on file including site pics, installation pics, and inspection ready pics within the scan drive
- Ensures all correct documents are on scan drive including permits, final permits, plans, inverter serial numbers within 24 hours of receipt
- Responsible for ensuring job packets are ready for installation
- Maintains and organizes job folders in filing cabinets, job folders should have plans,
- Responsible for keeping vehicle maintenance report updated and submits to Production Manager and President by the first of every month
- Responsible for being the main point of contact for all customers from during installation process until customer passes completion. CC’s sales reps, and management on all email correspondence with customers
- Ensures completion certificates are sent out to customers before install and reminds customers of payments being due as needed
- Assists with collection calls as needed
- Maintains excellent customer service standards by adhering to NorCal’s customer service policies and stays aware of all customer service issues through communication with the appropriate Managers
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of customer service
- Minimum 2 years of office admin experience
- Experience in the solar industry is preferred but not required
- Must be punctual and able to work complete shift (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm)
- Reliable transportation
- Strong experience in Microsoft office applications (i.e. word, excel, outlook)
- Great organizational skills and able to manage tasks according to deadlines
- Excellent communication skills on phone, email, and face-to-face
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and listen; using hands to type. The employee is occasionally required to stand, reach with hands and arms and stoop. Kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus. Prosthetic or mechanical substitutes for any of the above are acceptable.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
