The Showroom Coordinator is the main point of contact for customers who visit our showrooms as well as will be a key support for our designers offering a high level of customer service during the sales process. Our commitment to creating the best customer experience is our "secret sauce".
As the Showroom Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivery this high level of customer service each day. In addition, the Coordinator is the key person responsible for keeping the showrooms compliant with our safety protocols as it related to COVID19. Some responsibilities include:
• Meet and greet all customers as they enter the showroom.
• Work to identify product or services needed before referring to a designer.
• Direct design and project inquires to a designer immediately
• Handle small sales unrelated to a design
• Record all new leads as prospect customers in company ERP system.
• Answer phone calls and assist in showroom coverage.
• Assist customers by providing information on NKB process, products with a description of the features and benefits of available lines.
• Work to identify type of lead and qualify the customer before referring to a designer.
• Create prospect customer for all new leads in ERP system.
• Responsible for answering and assisting customer who called in with basic inquiries
• Assist designers with sales ordering process converting prospect customers and quotes in ERP system.
• May help follow up on open orders. or quotes by reaching out to the customer.
• Work with the showroom management and marketing to ensure proper signage and literature for promotions and Norfolk services are up to date and displayed.
• Ensure the showroom is clean, neat and presentable to customers, includes some light cleaning tasks.
• Disinfect displays and samples after client showroom visits
• Maintain supplies for the location, including customer coffee station, office supplies
• Maintain samples, ensure displays and literature are current and not older than manufacturer’s date. Identify issues to be addressed to the sales manager
• Maintain vendor sign-in book at each location.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of this job and must be able to work Saturdays
• Coordinate with the designer and customer to liaison with delivery dept. to set up deliveries
• Field all After Sales Calls for service and replacement and direct to the Service Department.

• Ability to read, write in English.
• Online product and information research skills
Education and Experience
• 2+ years of customer facing support in a sales/retail work environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel & Teams
• Kitchen cabinet product knowledge, helpful but will train
Physical Requirements
• Able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
• Able to lift 20-50+ lbs. occasionally to move product
• Able to walk frequently
• Professional demeanor and appearance
