In business since 1975, Norfolk Power Equipment is a family owned and operated business
serving homeowners and commercial businesses as well as municipal, state, and federal
agencies. We sell, rent and service a wide variety construction, lawn and garden equipment and
have three retail locations in Wrentham, MA, Carver, MA, and Burrillville, RI.
We are in need of a service counter associate at our Carver, MA location.
General Requirements
- Must be willing to work a normal 40 hours per week and longer hours as required to meet customer demands.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Experience working in customer service in-person, via e-mail and over the phone
- Basic computer skills
- Must have excellent organizational and communication skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge is helpful
- Industry experience with construction, automotive, lawn & garden, or related fields (preferred but not required)
- Communicating with customer on the phone and with email
- Coordinate with sales dept and service dept pickup and delivery of new equipment and repairs
- Coordinate on the road service work schedule
- Assist our customer with short-term and long-term rentals
- Process cash, check, and credit card transactions
- Accurately open/close service contracts
- Maintain logs of available and down equipment
- Other duties or tasks may be assigned on an as needed basis such as Kubota campaign initiatives
- Track and manage work in progress jobs
Pay: starting at $21 per hour
