We are seeking enthusiastic, hard-working candidates with experience in team-based manufacturing/production environment.
The opening is in our Mesquite TX facility.
This position is responsible for safely operating bag making machines to safely produce high quality bags while meeting production schedule and customer quality specifications.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Operate complex bag machine, ensuring that quality standards are met for glue and bag handles while meeting production goal rates
- Adjust machine settings for production of various bag sizes and prints
- Perform quality checks required on machines and product to ensure customers specifications are met
- Troubleshoot machines to clear machine jams and report malfunctions to supervisor
- Complete daily reports on production totals and quality inspections
- Conduct quality checks and identify product that fails to meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Perform and log maintenance checks as required by the Engineering team, record all findings to supervisor or maintenance team for repair
- Helps ensure all policies and procedures for the company are followed
- Perform other related duties to contribute to the success of the operation as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Must be able to read a measuring tape
- Must be Machenicly inclined
- Must have team leader potential
- Must have at least 3 years Machine Operator Experience
- Must be able to stand up to 12 hours per day
- Must have basic math skills
- Must be able to do production reports
- Must be able to work independently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
