What are the responsibilities and job description for the DMV Clerk position at Norm Reeves?
As a DMV Clerk, you’re one of the most important team members at Norm Reeves Honda. You’ll be responsible for all our guests’ vehicle registrations, from application to submission. You have an eye for detail and handle all responsibilities with honesty and integrity.

What You’ll Do:
- Prepare, process, and submit all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled to the Department of Motor Vehicles
- Review applications for accuracy and ensure all information is complete
- Register all vehicle warranties and extended service contracts
- Maintain a log of all contracts processed and mailed out
- Compile and maintain a complete list of all outstanding title work
- Verify funds have been collected and the correct lienholder paid off before processing title applications
- Prepare payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins
- Bill out all dealer trades and prepare Certificates of Origin
- Acknowledge delays and report to management on the status of any missing or problem titles
- Provide a current list of outstanding titles to the Controller at the end of the month
- Process yearly renewal of dealer tags in conjunction with the Controller
What You’ll Need:
- Full time availability. You’ll also need to be at least 18 years old.
- A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Knowledge of the DMV title registration process a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and with a team.
- Detail-oriented organization style.
- A positive team player attitude.
