Early Intervention Coordinator Job Description

This position oversees, monitors, and implements the Disability and Mental Health services of WNCSource's Childrens Services programs to ensure all staff are supporting individual childrens needs.

The position also works directly with families and staff when there are child behavioral or developmental concerns.

EDUCATION / TRAINING :

Minimum : Baccalaureate degree Early Childhood Education or other relevant discipline

Preferred : Masters degree with coursework in Early Childhood Education specializing in Special Education and / or Social Emotional supports for early childhood

Degree(s) must be from an accredited college recognized by the NC Department of Child Development and Early Education.

EXPERIENCE :

Five years of experience teaching children ages birth to six. Engagement with families in a management / supervisor role.

Early Head Start / Head Start / NC Pre-K experience preferred.
