We are currently seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Bank Concierge. This position plays a crucial role in providing a seamless experience for our customers while supporting various operational functions.
Job Summary: As a Bank Concierge, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, managing the switchboard efficiently and ensuring a positive customer experience. In addition, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including but not limited to internal account balancing, document handling, online banking support, and card cancellations. We are looking for an outgoing, detail-oriented, and multitasking professional to contribute to the success of our banking operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Switchboard Operations:
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.
- Provide information and assistance to customers in a professional and courteous manner.
2. Internal Account Balancing
- Regularly reconcile and balance internal accounts to maintain accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, collaborating with the various departments as needed.
3. Mailroom Operations:
- Stuff and mail various notices and communications to customers.
- Oversee return mail processes, contacting and updating customer information and addressing discrepancies.
4. Document Scanning:
- Scan and digitally archive department documents for record-keeping.
- Ensure accuracy of digital document storage
- Maintain an organized and systematic filing system for easy retrieval.
5. Online Banking Support:
- Assist customers with inquiries and issues related to online banking.
- Provide guidance on navigating online banking platforms and troubleshoot common problems.
- Collaborate with IT and support teams to address and resolve technical issues.
6. Card Cancellations:
- Handle requests for card cancellations securely and promptly.
- Follow established procedures for card cancellations to mitigate risks.
- Communicate with customers to confirm and verify card cancellation requests.
**Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service, banking operations, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Proficient in operating a switchboard and handling customer inquiries.
- Familiarity with banking software and online banking platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
