Cyber Security Engineer (TS/SCI Clearance Required)

Applicants should be self-motivated, fast-paced, curious problem solvers with a BS in Engineering or related field, plus the following skills/experience:

Responsibilities: 

• Apply a collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, validate and verify cyber solutions across the life cycle.
• Conduct cyber risk assessment activities including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and analysis of mitigation solutions.
• Coordinate and address Supply Chain risk management concerns.
• Develop, evaluate and analyze design constrains, trade-offs and detailed system and security design as they pertain to the cyber domain.
• Coordinate with cyber and system architects, as well as developers to provide oversight in the development of solutions.
• Conduct cyber security test and evaluation of hardware and/or software designs to verify and validate compliance with defined specifications and requirements.
• Employ cyber security processes, methods, techniques and tools and assure their consistent application.
• Implement appropriate Assessment and Authorization activities as required by customers.

Basic Qualifications:

• DoD 8570 and ICD 503 experience.
• Knowledge or experience in RMF Assessment & Authorization Package Development.
• Knowledge or experience with employment of DoD cybersecurity requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Knowledge or experience with vulnerability and compliance assessments and mitigation.

Desired Skills:

• Technical background with the ability to troubleshoot problems
• Good communication skills.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Windows Server and Red Hat administration
• Familiarity with DISA STIGs, DISA SCAP tools, and STIG Viewer.
• Experience with ACAS, HBSS, Nessus, SIEM Tools.
• Writing Cyber security policies, plans, and procedures, and POA&Ms.
• Experience with patching solutions such as WSUS and Red Hat Satellite.
