Applicants should be self-motivated, fast-paced, curious problem solvers with a BS in Engineering or related field, plus the following skills/experience:
Responsibilities:
- Apply a collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, validate and verify cyber solutions across the life cycle.
- Conduct cyber risk assessment activities including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and analysis of mitigation solutions.
- Coordinate and address Supply Chain risk management concerns.
- Develop, evaluate and analyze design constrains, trade-offs and detailed system and security design as they pertain to the cyber domain.
- Coordinate with cyber and system architects, as well as developers to provide oversight in the development of solutions.
- Conduct cyber security test and evaluation of hardware and/or software designs to verify and validate compliance with defined specifications and requirements.
- Employ cyber security processes, methods, techniques and tools and assure their consistent application.
- Implement appropriate Assessment and Authorization activities as required by customers.
Basic Qualifications:
- DoD 8570 and ICD 503 experience.
- Knowledge or experience in RMF Assessment & Authorization Package Development.
- Knowledge or experience with employment of DoD cybersecurity requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Knowledge or experience with vulnerability and compliance assessments and mitigation.
Desired Skills:
- Technical background with the ability to troubleshoot problems
- Good communication skills.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Windows Server and Red Hat administration
- Familiarity with DISA STIGs, DISA SCAP tools, and STIG Viewer.
- Experience with ACAS, HBSS, Nessus, SIEM Tools.
- Writing Cyber security policies, plans, and procedures, and POA&Ms.
- Experience with patching solutions such as WSUS and Red Hat Satellite.
