This position is working M-F, 6am-2:30pm, no weekends, and holiday rotation when the holiday falls on a weekday.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Candidate will be taking breakfast, lunch and dinner orders from residents and other related tasks. Works under general supervision, exercising initiative in work area and being mentally alert in carrying out tasks. Must be pleasant, respectful and courteous to residents, families, visitors and fellow employees at all times.
MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS:
Transport dialysis patient from TCU to dialysis area for treatment
Assists in meal service to the residents.
Gathers non-food items needed for meal service.
Serves cold food items.
Re-stocks food or non-food items as needed.
Cleans tables between and after meal service.
Returns full bussing carts to kitchen.
Performs cleaning duties as needed or directed.
MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES:
Performs specific job routines as assigned and completes all tasks as assigned.
Checks with Supervisor on duties before checking out at the end of shift.
Follows policies and procedures of North Ridge and Nutrition Services department.
Follows Federal and State regulations governing long-term care as related to food services.
Practices good safety habits.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Works with other members of the Nutrition Services staff as a team.

Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Must be able to follow oral and written directions.
Must be able to work on a time schedule.
Must be able to follow principles of sanitation.
Must be able to perform physical job demands of position.
Must be available to work on an on-call basis as scheduled.
Must work rotating holidays and every other weekend as scheduled.
