We are looking for someone who can truly identify with our mission and project the organization's passion for what we do and who we serve among the community, to join our Human Resources team as a Part-Time HR Admin Assistant.
Job Summary: Provides administrative support with a primary focus on scanning employee documents and creating files in UltiPro.
Major Responsibilities:
- Assist the HR Coordinator with periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected, current, and filed appropriately
- Supports the Talent Acquisition team with the new employee onboarding process, ensuring that all other new employee checklist items are completed in a timely manner.
- Assists with planning and executing special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, and employee recognition events
- Scans, labels, and uploads documents into employees’ electronic personnel files.
- Supports new hire orientation process by collecting and filing policies and hiring new employees in UltiPro as needed.
- Assists with collecting and filing employees' policies, certificates, and personal documents, as well as prepare separation documents and mail to terminated employees
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in a related field and/or prior related office experience preferred
- Ability to work independently, efficiently, and cooperatively with others: self-starter and practical problem-solving ability
- Strong professionalism, discretion, and strict confidentiality
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and databases
- Nonprofit experience is strongly preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Physical Demands:
- Requires someone to sit for long periods of time, talk on the phone, and enter information into the computer for at least 70% of their day.
Work Environment:
- Work performed in an office environment.
Job Type: Part-time/On-site
Pay: up to $23 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week.
