What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outpatient Clinician - ME position at Northeast Family Services?
Northeast Family Services is seeking an independently licensed Outpatient Clinician to join our growing team in Maine! Under the direction of the Program Director, the Outpatient Clinician will provide services and care to our patients in accordance with NFS’ policies.
The Outpatient Clinician will assess needs and strengths, develop treatment plans and provide crisis intervention, diagnostic evaluation, and treatment services utilizing a variety of treatment styles such as individual, couple, family and group psychotherapy.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT license in Maine
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
- Two years minimum experience working with children, youth and families providing direct treatment services
- At least 1 year of clinical experience
- Experience working with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders or children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Previous outpatient experience strongly preferred
- Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle
