Offer advanced administrative and organizational support across various critical areas, including recruitment, enrollment, financial aid, retention, completion, and placement, all within the integrated enrollment model. Serve as the frontline of our customer service efforts, leveraging critical thinking and technology utilization to deliver exceptional support to both the public and our students
Duties and Responsibilities
Student Support Champion:
  • Assist current and prospective students in navigating through various student services processes such as recruitment, enrollment, financial aid, retention, and career services.
  • Be the friendly face and voice of our institution, providing information and guidance with warmth and professionalism.

Efficient Administrative Support:
  • Utilize effective communication skills in managing appointment calendars, handling departmental emails, and documenting meeting minutes.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and accuracy of student files, maintaining data integrity at all times.

First Point of Contact:
  • Act as the initial point of contact for all inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins, delivering prompt and helpful responses to students and the public.
  • Organize and process outgoing student communications with attention to detail.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant coursework preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach. Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office suite, G Suite, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Student Information Systems (SIS) or similar software to manage student/customer data. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Previous experience in administrative or customer service roles is a plus but not required.
Essential Functions
Student Services Assistant
  • Perform data entry, electronic filing, and processing using various software tools like GSuite, Microsoft Office, and Ellucian Colleague.
  • Assist in ordering and purchasing supplies/equipment essential for smooth operations.

Supportive Team Player:
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless flow of information and maintain a high standard of customer service within an integrated enrollment model.
  • Take initiative and demonstrate independence in decision-making when necessary. 6. Special Projects and Reporting:
  • Compile data for reporting needs and contribute to special projects as assigned, showcasing your ability to handle diverse tasks effectively.
