What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crisis Recovery Specialist position at Northeastern Center Inc?
The Crisis Recovery Specialist will operate as a team member on the Mobile Crisis Team alongside an Emergency Solutions Case Facilitator. The Crisis Recovery Specialist will offer guidance and support to individuals in crisis, seeking or in Recovery from substance use disorders and/or mental health needs. They will use personal, practical experience, knowledge, and first-hand insight to benefit the team and its clients. As a full integrated team member, the Crisis Recovery Specialist will provide expertise about the recovery process, symptom management, and the persistence required by clients to have a satisfying life. He or she will collaborate to promote a team culture that recognizes, understands, and respects each client’s point of view, experiences, and preferences. The Crisis Recovery Specialist on the Mobile Crisis Team is an on-call position, providing crisis intervention services 24/7/365. On call services include telephone, face-to-face, and telehealth interactions with clients. Follow-up action on previous emergency calls and maintaining positive working relationships with referral sources (hospitals, nursing homes, etc.).
CRS work with the Emergency Solutions Case Facilitators as a team to assess and identify appropriate resources to alleviate crisis episode. This position is a new position within the agency, one we are excited to add on. The lived experience from the CRS team member brings a value to the Mobile Crisis Team.
This is a second shift position, 2p - 10p M-F. This position also includes on-call rotations in the evening and weekends.
Salary based on experience.
