About the Opportunity The Associate Director of Marketing is responsible for developing strategies that drive the enrollment and reputation goals for a portfolio of Northeastern University D'Amore-McKim School of Business graduate programs in collaboration with the marketing director. Through a cross-channel, user-centric set of strategies, the Associate Director elevates the visibility of D'Amore-McKim with future students and corporate partners at national levels. This role executes highly targeted marketing strategies to drive interest, applications, and enrollment to meet net revenue targets. The Associate Director uses data and market research to inform wide-ranging marketing and recruitment strategies, positioning, and new program roll-out campaigns aligned with Northeastern University's brand identity and values and further the strategic mission of the business school. This person manages the Digital Marketing and Engagement Manager and oversees digital marketing efforts for graduate programs, including website, landing pages, forms, data analytics, and end-to-end digital campaign support. This person collaborates closely with the marketing director, the communications team, Northeastern brand marketing, EDGE, enrollment management services, and faculty. Key responsibilities: Marketing plan development and management Fill the enrollment funnel with marketing-qualified leads Curate a robust and intuitive digital presence for graduate programs and services Marketing analytics and key performance indicator evaluation Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field with superior written and oral skills. A minimum of 6 years of experience in digital marketing required. Fluency in strategy-based marketing and communications, creative delivery, and digital marketing technology is essential. Demonstrated success in acquisition marketing/lead generation content development/campaigns with related digital marketing technology experience. A sophisticated understanding of contemporary content marketing analytics and experience working with marketing leadership to assess marketing ROI and optimize programs accordingly. Flexible, creative thinker open to new ideas and changing priorities within a fast-paced organization. Willingness to continually enhance communication and drive innovation by adapting and evolving content and delivery mechanisms for specific audiences and marketing endeavors. Outstanding interpersonal and professional communication skills, including writing and editorial. Able to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, colleagues, and peers. Curious, self-motivated, and collaborative. Fluency with a marketing automation tool (Slate) preferred.
