Skill Set Required
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, governmental regulations, customer drawings, schematics and RFQs. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, sales gross margins and profitability. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry and Ohms Law. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software; spreadsheet software; design software and internet software

Occasional customer visits required
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Prepare customer proposals
Prepare customer HVAC load calculations
Review customer provided specifications and assist in determining appropriate equipment to be quoted
Prepare specification verification, deviation, substitution, and exception matrixes
Assist as the technical interface between sales and engineering
Assist with duct layouts and configurations
Participate in customer visits, design reviews, and follow up meetings
Assist in providing, editing and tracking submittal packages
Assists with managing customer change orders
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
