Northern California National Bank is seeking a Part time Teller. The teller is responsible for handling customer service transactions, such as receiving and disbursing funds, posting deposits and processing cash. The teller provides information and assistance in researching customer problems, balances a cash drawer daily and answers customer inquiries. The teller is responsible for facilitating positive customer service experiences while adhering to bank policy and directions of management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly service to Bank customers while ensuring all transactions are handled timely and accurately according to bank guidelines
- Ensures that cash and operational security procedures are observed
- Balances cash drawer and maintains drawer within limits
- Adheres to balancing standards
- Completes necessary documentation and data entry
- Processes all deposit and loan transactions
- Answers phone calls promptly and directs calls to appropriate staff
- Maintains a current understanding of and complies with regulations that include but are not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, suspicious activity reporting, CIP, Reg DD/Truth in Savings, Expedited Funds Availability Act, and Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act
- Assists in processing ATM (including balancing) and night drop
- Assists with cash orders and shipments
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
