What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Ministries Program Coordinator (part-time) position at Northland Church?

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is for a person who loves God, loves students and is eager to see them experience life change while providing support administratively to our Northland Student Ministry.
Status: Part-time (up to 28 hours/week)
Lines of Accountability: Reports to the Executive Pastor of NextGen - Students

COMPETENCIES
Volunteers Coordination
- Oversee scheduling, communication, appreciation efforts. This includes: Personal check-ins and spiritual growth encouragement.
- Assist leading our student ministry towel holders (volunteers).
Communication
- Coordinate and execute all student ministry communication.
- This includes email, text, written and print media for students, parents and leaders
- Oversee web and online communication.
Administration
- Coordinate with other Northland teams and departments in regards to campus use and logistics.
- Calendar management for ministry events and team members
- Approve ADP hours for our team.
- Operate and manage participants in Planning Center.
- All budget responsibilities and credit card disbursements.
Programming & Events
- Assist Content Development
- Plan/execute/attend student ministry camps, retreats, and events.
- Help Develop a Strategic Calendar for student ministry
- Jump in and lead small groups if needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

CREDENTIALS (Educational & Professional Requirements)
- Volunteering or Employment in Church/Ministry setting
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Prefer basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Google Sheets and basic processing skills.
- Administrative/Office role with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
