We currently have an opening for a highly driven Payroll Specialist to join our office team. To be successful in this role, you will have a strong ability to prioritize tasks and have exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities will include the following:
- Weekly payroll processing
- Weekly taxes and child support payments
- Weekly 401K processing
- Quarterly payroll taxes
- Annual payroll documents
- Monthly union payroll reports
- Verification of employment
- Setup new employees in ERP & HR programs
- New hire onboarding
- Benefits administration including 401k and insurance
Requirements for a successful candidate:
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years payroll experience
- Strong MS Office software proficiency and typing skills
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to complete projects quickly and accurately when under deadlines
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
- A positive, courteous, and helpful demeanor
- Ability to maintain privacy on sensitive issues
- Desire to work in a team environment to a common goal
- Human resources experience is a plus
- Mechanical industry experience is a plus
- Sage 300 CRE (Timberline) software experience is a plus
- BambooHR experience is a plus
