What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bank Teller/Customer Service Rep position at NorthStar Bank?
Serves customers with teller transactions, performs general bookkeeping duties and assists customers with new and existing deposit account needs including opening new accounts, online and mobile banking services. Provides prompt, efficient and accurate customer service, representing the Bank in a courteous, professional manner, alert to customer needs and willing to cross-sell or refer the customer to the appropriate staff. Essential Functions:
- Accepts deposits, verifying cash and endorsements, and issues receipts
- Cashes checks.
- Cross-sells the Bank’s services and products.
- Processes credit card deposits and credit card advances.
- Processes night deposit bags.
- Issues personal money orders, bank checks
- Accepts loan payments and safe deposit box rental payments.
- Admits customers to safe deposit boxes.
- Answers customer inquiries and gives balances.
- Balances transactions at end of day and verifies cash totals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 – 40 per week
