What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teller position at Northway Bank?
A Teller’s primary responsibility is to provide superior customer service by processing transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures. Proactively identify customer needs and recommend financial products and services to consumer and small business customers. Act as Northway’s face to the customer and consistently seek to enhance our customers’ commitment by demonstrating a sincere desire to exceed their expectations. Ensure regulatory requirements, such as Anti-Money Laundering and Bank Secrecy Act, are adhered to. Contribute to a positive team environment in the branch through 360-degree coaching. Demonstrate Northway’s fundamental values and exhibit a positive commitment to the company’s objectives. May be required to work weekends and/or extended hours and regular, reliable attendance is critical. (The position described herein may be performed differently within a branch based on many factors including the size of the office, the number of transactions, and the experience and amount of staff.)
Responsibilities - Process transactions accurately and efficiently to build customer confidence and trust based on established policies and procedures. Act as an ambassador of the bank - smile and greet customers using established guidelines and provide basic teller services. Build customer commitment through courtesy and friendliness, including addressing each customer by name. Identify customer needs and recommend the appropriate products and services.
