Job Description
Assists in technical imaging services. Provides technical support to meet goals of Service Line including staff training/education to maximize resources and equipment utilization across
multiple ambulatory sites. Functions as a technologist, responds to emergency calls, ensures maintenance of equipment and supplies for department and ensures accreditation of labs are maintained
Job Responsibility
1.Performs ionization chamber QA measurements
2.Performs radiographic film QA measurements
3.Performs radiochromic film measurements
4.Portal imaging fluence measurements
5.Performs QA procedures in compliance to department, Health System and Department of Health regulations, protocols, policies and procedures
6.Alerts physicist of malfunctioning equipment and supply shortages
7.Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions
Job Qualification
1.High School Diploma required.Higher education in physics, preferred
2.0 - 1 years of technical experience
