What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lunchroom Aide position at Northwest Florida Ballet?
Northwest Florida Ballet Académie is looking for a part-time Lunchroom Aide/Custodian to work Monday - Friday each week during the days when school is in session for the 2023-24 school year as indicated by the Okaloosa County School District Calendar. The hours are 10:15 am - 1:15 pm. Duties include:
· Serve as lunch aide during all lunch periods: supervise and assist students, establish and enforce lunchroom behavior expectations and routines.
- Supervise students during lunchtime
- Ensure a safe and respectful environment
- Assist with maintaining order in the lunchroom
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere
- Clean cafeteria: sweep floors, mop as necessary for spills (move tables to sweep well), clean table tops and benches after each lunch period. Sanitize tables after last lunch period. Set up lunchroom for Specials classes/Aftercare.
· Provide light cleaning and minor maintenance of the Northwest Florida Ballet on all school days as indicated by the Okaloosa County School System Calendar.
- Light cleaning and restocking of the buildings
- Clean common areas and bathrooms; sweep all stairways, wipe down handrails, sweep lobby, and clean glass windows.
- Sweep the dance studio floors.
· Keep supply/inventory list of janitorial/cleaning supplies; request supplies in a timely manner when stock is low.
· Communicate with students and school staff in a positive and professional manner.
· Have cleared fingerprints on record with the Okaloosa County School District.
