Registered Nurse (RN) Full Time Position in the EP Lab at Northwest Health - La Porte Hospital
- Full time: 40 hours per week, 8 hour shifts
- Hours: 6a-3p (primarily)

About this unit:
- Small, family-like team
- No floating outside of the department, but will be cross-trained.
- 1-3 years of experience in Cardiac Care OR 2 years of ER, Cath Lab, IMCU, ICU or CVICU hospital experience preferred. 1

Just off the shores of Lake Michigan in Northern Indiana, Northwest Health - La Porte has been the heart of healthcare in La Porte for more than 40 years. La Porte is a 227-bed hospital providing acute care with strong programs in cardiology, orthopedics, surgical services, emergency care, oncology and maternal health. As of October 2020, our new and improved La Porte location opened. This location features the latest technology for our staff and providers. Our hospital is La Porte’s only stroke center and nationally accredited chest pain center.

Education:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) required, BSN preferred.
Licensure & Certification:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Indiana.
- BLS certification must be maintained while in this position
- ACLS certification within 12 months of hire, must be maintained while in this position
Experience:
- 1 year of hospital experience preferred

ExperiencePreferred- 1 year Cardiac Electrophysiology experience with attention to the independent interrogation of both implantable cardiac defibrillators and pacemakers OR 1 year of ER, Cath Lab, IMCU, ICU or CVICU hospital experience within the last two years
- Associates or better in Nursing or related field
- L-IN-RN License
- C-AHA ACLS
- C-AHA BLS Basic Cardiac
