What are the responsibilities and job description for the DISTRICT MANAGER position at Northwest?
As retail office network leaders, Northwest district managers oversee multiple offices and office managers—ensuring the appropriate management, coaching and development of each team in line with Northwest's standards for customer experience. In addition to the complete oversight of district-wide office operations, employee relations and community engagement, district managers implement sales initiatives that leverage Northwest management tools to meet district goals.
- Provide supervision, leadership and communication for all offices in their area
- Oversee all implementation and support of Northwest policy and procedure within the district
- Attend region advisory board and corporate board meetings as applicable
- Work with team to address employee relations and resolve conflicts
- Identify and cultivate current and future organizational talent
- Ensure that office staff are consistently providing the best customer experience possible
- Communicate with customers to recognize cross-selling opportunities, including education and referral of Northwest solutions that meet our customer/client needs through the Northwest 360 model – bank, borrow, invest, and insure.
- Oversee the onboarding of new and existing customers/clients and resolve or escalate issues referred by the district team
- Implement of Northwest’s strategic business plan and marketing initiatives
- Generate small business relationships
- Promote the growth and profitability of the district by developing and expanding customer relationships and retention
- Ensure the attainment of district production goals and audit results by leading the sales process and ensuring accountability throughout their district and developing tactical initiatives to achieve district sales goals
- Act as liaison between corporate and district’s retail offices
- Conduct in-person and out bound business calls/referrals for acquisition and retention
- Lead the overall sales performance of the district by reviewing and coaching to the Northwest scorecard
- Originate and process consumer loan requests
- Provide leadership to the office team by providing a positive work environment, coaching, and facilitating district meetings/huddles
- Recruit top available talent and onboard/supervise training of new employees
- Supervise and guide the district’s success of operations and audit
- Adhere to the staffing model for operating efficiencies
- Minimize office operating expenses
- Develop and maintain a high profile within the community
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred. 8-12 years Banking and/or Retail experience preferred, 8-12 years sales experience preferred, 8-12 years supervisory experience preferred.
