Job Description:
The Sales Manager at K9 Bookkeeping is responsible for leading our sales department and ensuring our company achieves its sales objectives. This role will involve setting sales targets, implementing sales strategies, and ensuring our sales team meets these targets. A core aspect of this position is the ability to understand and respond appropriately to social cues, being able to empathize with prospective clients and provide solutions with our service. The ideal candidate will be someone who can sell our services with confidence, without overselling or underselling, and teach their underlings to do the same.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base. This includes researching and understanding the market to identify sales opportunities.
Making sales: Being an effective mode, making and closing deals, and meeting monthly KPI’s.
Team Management: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the sales team, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to understand and respond to social cues is vital.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build relationships, address customer doubts and fears, and influence others. Strong leadership skills are also important.
Analytical Skills: Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools. The ability to analyze sales statistics and use this information to inform strategy is crucial.
Bookkeeping Knowledge: A good base understanding of the bookkeeping industry is a plus, and strong knowledge of K9's services is essential.
Persuasion: Strong persuasion skills are a must. The ability to sell our services effectively, without overselling or underselling, is crucial.
Problem-Solving: Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively, making decisive and informed decisions.
Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service skills, with a focus on building long-lasting relationships.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in sales, with a proven record of achieving sales targets. Prior experience in a sales leadership role is required.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data and market trends, and apply this information to develop sales strategies.
Education: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field OR
demonstrated successful history in sales with references.
Pay: Commensurate with experience.
