What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recreational Gymnastics Coach position at Nova Gymnastics?
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver gymnastics lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
- Teach proper techniques and form for gymnastics exercises and routines
- Create a safe and positive learning environment for all students
- Provide guidance and support to students during training sessions
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback for improvement
- Develop lesson plans and curriculum based on student needs and goals
- Ensure equipment is set up properly and maintained in a safe condition
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to coordinate class schedules and events
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a gymnastics coach or instructor is preferred
- Knowledge of gymnastics techniques, skills, and safety guidelines
- Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate exercises to students
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with children and parents
- Certification in CPR, First Aid, or USA Gymnastics is a plus
- Experience working with students in other sports or physical education

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
