Nova Health Therapies Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. As an RBT, you will support and implement patient care plans created by board-certified behavior analysts (BCBAs). You will provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions that foster socially acceptable replacement behaviors, helping clients enhance their communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skills. Given the individualized nature of behavioral therapy, your role will be tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct Client Care: Provide one-on-one or group sessions, ensuring personalized attention and effective therapy.
- Behavioral Protocols: Implement behavior reduction and skill acquisition protocols as outlined by the BCBA.
- Data Collection: Accurately collect and record data on client behavior to monitor progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with clients, parents, and caregivers, providing updates on client progress and addressing any concerns.
- Support for BCBAs: Assist behavior analysts and assistant behavior analysts with behavior reduction assessments and skills acquisition.
- Preparation of Materials: Help in preparing client materials, ensuring all resources are ready and tailored to each client's needs.
Qualifications:
- Certification: Must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Experience: Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow detailed protocols.
- Flexibility: Adaptability to work with various clients and adjust to their unique needs and progress.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
