Full Job Description:
- Supervise the training and development of maintenance technicians
- Implement daily maintenance processes and workflow
- Conduct daily meetings between Plant leadership and Maintenance teams to streamline communication and goals
- Oversee work orders and preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
- Schedule and prioritize maintenance need to ensure proper coverage
- Ensures sound safety standards and practices are strictly observed
- Inspects all equipment and machinery to ensure proper functionality on a regular basis
- Responsible for ordering parts for repair
- Perform hands on maintenance tasks when necessary
- Document maintenance services through the completion of reports, logs, and maintenance forms
- Ensures the accuracy of all maintenance records and data
- Manager relationships with contractor and service providers
Qualifications and Skills:
- 5 years of Maintenance experience
- 3 years of Supervisory/Leadership experience
- Cargo Trailer experience is a plus
- Experience working within OSHA safety guidelines and the proper use of PPE
- Must be familiar with pneumatic and hydraulic machinery, electrical.
- Welding experience will be considered a plus
- Demonstrate a proven track record of leading teams of experienced technicians as well as apprentices
- Strong communication skills needed
- Proficient technical skills including experience with the Microsoft Suite
- Excellent organizational skills
- Experience Planning Maintenance Operations
- Excellent Leadership and Management Skills
