Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree, required. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems, preferred
- Experience: Two to five years of experience in financial reporting, required. Healthcare and clinical reporting experience, peferred.
- Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competencytesting; understands and can apply knowledge of generally accepted accounting principals, patient billing and order entry system procedures, and federal and state regulatory requirements related to billing and coding; ability to analyze and resolve issues at a detailed level, including meeting with department managers, researching requests for reports, data reconciliation, data distribution and user support. Ability to work efficiently and accurately, and to plan and organize work. Ability to travel to other Novant Health facilities on occasion.
