Position Overview
The North America Finance team is looking for an expert Finance Manager in the Atlanta, GA office. The role is responsible for analysis and understanding of metal spend and inventory positions for North America. Act as focal point for analysis of Metal costs, Inventory and supply chain for Novelis North America coordinating the activities of metal procurement, scrap management and Inventory positions for North America working directly with plant-based teams and Functional leads in North America HQ. This role will report directly to the Director, FP&A.

- Direct support to VP of Recycling and metal procurement team / and Director of Supply Chain
- Deliver the monthly metal financial reporting, covering metal costs: recycling (including subcontracting), sheet ingot purchased along with inventory reporting
- Implement a sharepoint (or best available tools) based dashboard, pulling on all operational information available, relevant to the metal/recycling Value Stream
- Develop and maintain a model to assess the cost/benefit of different materials and different metal lanes (internal and tolling). Use this model to plan and report Actual cost/benefit. Maintain a list of net discount benefit by scrap type by lane.
- Manage the different workflows within the team and prioritize where required and liaise with the plant controllers/metal procurement and recycling team, to enable a high level of financial information on a timely basis
- Coordination and management of metal cost analysis and inventory analysis across all NNA entities
- Preparation and analysis of Metal & Inventory financial reporting for Novelis North America on a monthly and quarterly basis and enforce to strict deadlines
- Act as a liaison between accounting organization and regional FP&A team to discuss and resolve various issues
- Consolidate and analyze financial and operational information in an accurate and timely basis using HFM & HFP data and metal procurement data
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field; preferred master’s degree
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience. Ideal candidate will have both manufacturing and commercial sales and marketing experience.
- Preferred Hyperion Financial Planning and Hyperion Financial Management experience
- Excellent digital literacy with software applications proficiency, including Microsoft Office, Hyperion with Strong focus on SAP and Excel proficiency.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proven track record to meet tight deadlines with emphasis on sustained accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence others
- Ability to travel to client and plant locations

Novelis' Beachwood Ohio office supports our North American aluminum continuous casting operations including inside sales and customer service.
