Responsibilities and Requirements of the Scheduling Coordinator
- Dental experience required; orthodontic dental experience preferred
- Maintain and organize patient status and information
- Oversee the reception area during patient presence
- Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and help manner
- Confirm appointments with patients via phone call, email, and text message
- Manage relationships with general dental practices
- Produce reports for the doctors
- Accept and process patient payments
- Provide guidance to the patient during check-in and check-out process
- Follow up with patients after coming in for their appointment
- Handle new patient calls and referrals from dentists
- Strong interpersonal and writing skills
- Effective verbal communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient computer skills
- Welcoming and friendly personality
Schedule of the Scheduling Coordinator
- Monday: 9:30AM - 6:00PM
- Tuesday: 11:00AM - 7:00PM
- Wednesday: 7:30AM - 3:00PM
- Thursday: 9:30AM - 6:00PM
- Friday: 9:30AM - 1:00PM (Every other week)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
