Billing Clerk - Permanent

Job Summary:
NOW CFO's client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Clerk to join their manufacturing team. As a Billing Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing processes, maintaining billing records, and providing exceptional customer service. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be critical to your success in this role.

Pay: $20-$25 per hour.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and distribute accurate and timely customer invoices based on sales orders and contracts
- Verify and reconcile billing discrepancies with customers, sales representatives, and internal teams
- Maintain billing records and supporting documentation in an organized and efficient manner
- Process adjustments, credits, and refunds accurately and in compliance with company policies
- Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to resolve billing and invoicing issues
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service in a timely manner
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to billing and invoicing
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve billing processes

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Previous experience in billing or accounting role, preferably in a manufacturing or similar industry
- Experience with S2K preferred.
- Proficient in using billing software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve billing discrepancies
- Knowledge of accounting principles and understanding of basic financial concepts
